I studied Industrial Design in college from 2006 to 2010. Classes included Human-Computer Interaction, Design Phycology, Design Innovation, Mechanical Design, 3D Modeling, Visual Design, and Web Design. I also enjoy paintings, and I practice a variety of technics which includes watercolor painting, oil paintings, acrylic painting, sketches. I also enjoy juggling and cooking. People think that I am a rare mix of analytical thinker and polished designer, I think they get that right.

Inspired by David Hockney and chinese watercolor painting, I draw these slightly abstract winter landscapes purely using my figures on ipad. I want to create a clean, youthfulness, colourful, yet peaceful look and feel.

People Underground - Sketch in the NYC Subway

This project is a live sketch of people in the NY subway train. The time people spend on the train varies from a few minutes to an hour. I find it is challenging but fun to capture people's facial emotions quickly in the NYC Subway and also keep my sketching in a secret mode.

Water Lilies - acrylic painting

To honor, Monet, my second acrylic painting is waterlilies. I love the way how he used color and how he interprets the beauty of nature. If I ever have a chance to learn professional painting, I would like to be an artist like him.
